APT will be certified as complying with the requirements of German standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 for another three years. The certificate was issued by the ICG (International Certification Group) in early November and compliance with the stipulations will be regularly monitored.

“We are very proud to have earned this distinction,” says Erich Kipping, CEO of APT. “It demonstrates that we are ideally prepared when it comes to overcoming current and future challenges and tasks.”

DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 certification confirms that an organisation operates an effective quality management (QM) system. In addition, the standard specifies that the certified organisation must continue to improve its QM system, and must demonstrate and document that it is doing so.

The international quality management standard ISO 9001 has been undergoing revision since 2012 and the latest version – ISO 9001:2015 – was published in September 2015 and replaces revised version 9001:2008.

With this in view, the entire quality management system at APT was subjected to evaluation to ensure that it complies with the provisions of the latest version 9001:2015 – as it turned, out with success. This means that all our process stages will be more verifiable and transparent for our customers.
